Privacy Policy
Last updated October 29, 2026
This policy explains what personal information American Canvas Prints Inc. ("ACP", "we", "us") collects through americancanvasprints.com, why we collect it, who helps us process it, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have. It covers this website, our online store and checkout, customer accounts, and the emails we send about your requests and orders.
Who we are
American Canvas Prints Inc. is a fine art printing, production and fulfillment company at 406 E Commonwealth Ave #7, Fullerton, CA 92832. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at americancanvasprints@gmail.com or +1 714-770-0101.
What we collect
Information you give us
Request forms. When you ask for artist pricing, a sample, membership, wholesale pricing, an e-commerce integration or a quote, or simply contact us, we receive what you type: typically your name, email address, phone number, website or Instagram, business details and your message. A sample request also includes the shipping address you give us.
Orders. When you buy, we receive your name, billing and shipping addresses, email address, phone number, the products and specifications you chose, and your order history with us.
Accounts. If you create an account, we keep your name, email address, password (stored by WordPress in hashed form, never as plain text), saved Order Studio projects, your messages with us and your order history. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google tells us your name and email address and whether Google has verified that address, and we link your account to your Google account ID.
Artwork files. Files you upload in the Order Studio or Print My Image, and the details we read from them to check that they will print well, such as file type, file size and pixel dimensions.
Marketing choice. If you tick the box in your account to receive news and offers by email, we keep a record of that choice and of any later change, with the time and where you made it.
Information collected automatically
Technical data. Like any website, our servers receive your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. Where we use an IP address to limit abuse, for example to rate limit forms and uploads, we store it only as a scrambled one-way code (a salted hash), not as the address itself.
Bot protection. Our forms, uploads, sign-in and registration use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person, not a bot, is using the page.
Analytics, only with your consent. See "Cookies and analytics" below.
How we use it
To answer your requests, send samples, price your work, and keep a record of what you asked and what we replied.
To produce, ship and support your orders, including order confirmations, shipping and tracking updates, and replacement claims.
To run your account: sign-in, saved projects, messages, order history, and any trade or membership pricing ACP has approved for you.
To check that your files will print well, and to print them. Your artwork is used only for the production and services you authorized.
To send news and offers, only if you opted in. You can opt out at any time in your account or by emailing us.
To keep the site secure and working: preventing spam, fraud and abuse, and fixing problems.
To understand which pages help visitors, using analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Your artwork
Your artwork and its copyright remain yours. We use submitted artwork only for the production and services you authorized. We do not sell, reproduce, distribute or license customer artwork without authorization, and we do not use it for advertising or promotion without your permission.
Files uploaded through this site go to private cloud storage (Cloudflare R2). They are not published, not stored in a public folder, and not stored in WordPress. Staff who handle your order open a file through a download link that expires after 10 minutes. Our Artwork & IP Protection page explains our commitments in more detail.
Cookies and analytics
Essential cookies
Some cookies are needed for the site to work, so they are always on: the cart and checkout session, signing in to your account, an upload session cookie that lasts two hours, a short-lived cookie that protects the "Sign in with Google" step, and the security check on our forms. We also keep your cookie choice in your browser so we do not ask again on every page.
The Order Studio may keep a preview of your image and the progress of an upload in your own browser, so you can pick up where you left off. That copy stays on your device.
Analytics cookies
Every visitor sees a cookie notice. Until you press Accept, no analytics tags load and no analytics cookies are set. We use Google Consent Mode, so analytics and advertising storage both start as denied.
If you press Accept, we load Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager. Accepting turns on analytics storage only; advertising storage, ad personalization and ad user data stay off. Google Analytics then sets its own cookies and records how the site is used, such as pages viewed and actions like sending a form, requesting a sample, downloading the price list or pressing a button.
If you choose "Essential only", no analytics tags load. You can change your mind at any time with "Cookie settings" in the site footer. Declining after you accepted turns analytics storage off and clears the Google Analytics cookies set on this site.
Who processes your information for us
We use these service providers to run the site and our business. Each one receives only what it needs for its part of the work.
Cloudflare hosts and protects this website, stores uploaded artwork files privately (R2), and provides the Turnstile bot check.
Hostinger hosts our WordPress and WooCommerce system, which holds accounts, orders, request forms and messages.
Square processes card payments at checkout. You enter card details into Square's secure payment fields and they go to Square; we never see or store your full card number.
ShipStation, and carriers such as UPS and FedEx, receive the names, addresses and order details needed to ship your order and provide tracking.
Resend delivers the emails our store sends, such as order emails, account emails and replies to your requests.
Google provides Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (only after you accept), the optional "Sign in with Google", and the email inbox (americancanvasprints@gmail.com) that receives copies of the requests you send us.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.
We do not sell your personal information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Advertising storage, ad personalization and ad user data stay off in Google Consent Mode, even if you accept analytics.
How long we keep it
Uploaded files that are never added to an order are deleted automatically after 7 days.
Files attached to an order are kept in private storage for as long as we need them to produce the order and handle reorders and replacement claims, and are then deleted automatically under our retention schedule. If you need a file deleted sooner, email us.
Requests and messages are kept for as long as they help us follow up and serve you.
Account information is kept while your account is open. When an account is deleted, its saved projects are deleted with it.
Order records are kept for as long as we need them for support, replacement claims, and our tax and accounting obligations.
The record of your marketing email choice is kept so we can show what you agreed to and when.
Your California privacy rights
If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you these rights:
Right to know and access: to ask what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we use it and who we disclose it to, and to receive a copy.
Right to delete: to ask us to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to exceptions the law allows, such as completing an order or keeping tax records.
Right to correct: to ask us to correct inaccurate personal information. You can also update most account details yourself in your account.
Right to opt out of sale or sharing: we do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, but you may contact us with any concern.
Right to non-discrimination: we will not deny you service, charge you a different price or give you a different level of service for exercising any of these rights.
To make a request, email americancanvasprints@gmail.com or call +1 714-770-0101. We will confirm your identity by matching details you give us with the information we hold, such as your email address and order details. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof that the agent may act for you. We respond within the time the law requires.
Wherever you live, you can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or to stop sending you marketing emails, using the same contact details.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We protect information with measures such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the site, private file storage with short-lived download links, checks that reject uploaded files whose contents do not match their file type, bot protection and rate limits on forms and uploads, and IP addresses stored only as one-way codes. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we work to protect your information and your artwork.
Links to other sites
Our site links to other services, such as our social media profiles and Google. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change is significant, we will make it clear on this page.
