Terms
Last updated October 29, 2026
These terms apply when you use americancanvasprints.com, create an account, request a quote or sample, or place an order with American Canvas Prints Inc. ("ACP", "we", "us"). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them. Please read them with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information.
Who we are
American Canvas Prints Inc. is a fine art printing, production and fulfillment company at 406 E Commonwealth Ave #7, Fullerton, CA 92832. We operate as a production and fulfillment partner: we print, finish and ship work for artists, photographers, galleries, businesses and individuals.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order or create an account. If you order for a business, you confirm that you may bind that business to these terms.
You can create an account with an email address and password, or sign in with Google. Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Every new account is a standard customer account. Trade and wholesale pricing applies only to accounts ACP approves.
Orders, quotes and pricing
Prices. The Order Studio shows the price for the size, finish and options you choose as you build. Prices are in US dollars. Shipping and tax are calculated at checkout.
Quotes. Some projects are priced by quote instead of online. A quote is based on the details you give us and applies to that specification.
Artist, trade and wholesale pricing. Pricing for artists, galleries and other professional clients is set by agreement and can be negotiated by volume and product mix. Prices in the Order Studio are retail until ACP approves your account for trade pricing.
Errors. If a price, description or availability shown on the site is wrong, we will contact you before producing the order. You can then confirm the corrected order or cancel it for a full refund.
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we accept your order, which we confirm by email.
Custom products and cancellations
Every print is made to order from your file and your specification. Production begins once we have your file and have checked it for printing. Because the work is custom, an order cannot be cancelled or changed once production has begun, and custom products cannot be returned for a change of mind. If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible; before production starts, we will do our best to help.
This does not limit the replacement guarantee below, or any right you have under law.
Your artwork and files
You keep ownership of your artwork and its copyright. Nothing in these terms transfers it to us.
You confirm that you own the artwork you send us, or have all the rights and permissions needed for us to reproduce it, and that printing it does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.
You give us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, copy, prepare for printing, print, finish, package and ship your artwork, only as needed to produce and deliver your order, provide support, and handle reorders and replacement claims. We do not sell, reproduce, distribute or license your artwork without your authorization, or use it for advertising or promotion without your permission.
We may refuse or stop any order we believe is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, or includes content we are not willing to print.
The Order Studio checks your file's pixel dimensions against the size you choose and will not accept a file whose resolution is too low for it. You are responsible for the content, crop and quality of the file you supply. We print the file as supplied and as previewed.
Clients who need it can ask for a confidentiality or artwork protection agreement. Where one is signed, it applies alongside these terms.
Color, proofs and variation
The Order Studio preview shows size, crop and finish. Screen color is not a color proof: monitors, devices and settings show color differently, and canvas, inks and finishes render it in their own way. Small differences in color, texture and finish between your screen and the finished print, and between production runs, are normal and are not defects. For color-critical work, request a printed sample or proof before you order.
Shipping
We ship within the United States and Canada. Other destinations are available by quote.
We offer UPS, FedEx and other available shipping options. Oversized artwork may require freight transportation.
Shipping costs depend on size, destination and service. Estimated shipping is available on request; estimates and delivery times are not guaranteed.
Protective packaging is included in our production and fulfillment process.
Please give a complete and correct shipping address.
If an order arrives damaged during shipping, the replacement guarantee below applies.
Zero-Cost Damage & Defect Replacement Guarantee
If an order arrives damaged during shipping or has a verified manufacturing defect attributable to ACP, we will produce and ship a replacement at no additional charge.
Our commitment includes:
No replacement production charges.
No replacement shipping charges.
Careful quality inspection before dispatch.
Protective packaging designed for fine art shipments.
A straightforward claims and replacement process.
How to make a claim
Customers may be asked to provide photographs of the damaged product and packaging to help us resolve claims quickly.
If possible, keep photographs of the damaged product and its packaging.
Email the photographs, with your order number, to americancanvasprints@gmail.com.
What the guarantee covers
The guarantee covers damage that happens during shipping and verified manufacturing defects attributable to ACP, and its remedy is a replacement of the affected item. It does not cover problems that come from the file you supplied (such as its resolution, content or crop), the color differences described in "Color, proofs and variation" above, or damage that happens after delivery.
Payments
Payment is taken at checkout through Square. We never see or store your full card number. By paying, you confirm you are authorized to use the payment method. Sales tax is charged where it applies, based on the shipping address.
Premium Artist Membership and trade programs
Premium Artist Membership offers professional wholesale pricing with no minimum order quantities, and white-label fulfillment is available for qualifying professional orders. You apply through the site, and ACP decides whether to approve an application. The PAM price list is open to every signed-in account. ACP applies approved pricing to your account; until then, checkout charges retail prices. Program pricing may change, and the price list shows its effective date.
Acceptable use
When you use this site, you agree not to:
upload or link to anything unlawful, infringing, or containing malware;
try to get around security checks, rate limits or access controls, or access another person's account, files or orders;
use bots, scrapers or other automated means to submit forms, create accounts or place orders; or
interfere with the site, its servers or other users.
We may suspend or close accounts and refuse orders that break these terms.
Our website content
The text, photographs, design and branding on this site belong to American Canvas Prints Inc. or its licensors. You may view them for your own use, but you may not copy or reuse them without our permission. Your own artwork remains yours, as set out above.
Disclaimers
We work hard to keep the site accurate and available, but the site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, except for the commitments we make in these terms, including the replacement guarantee.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, ACP is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost sales or lost data, arising from the site or our products. Our total liability for any claim about an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify ACP against claims, losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, that arise from artwork or content you supply (including any claim that it infringes someone else's rights) or from your breach of these terms.
Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising from these terms, the site or an order will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and you and ACP agree to the jurisdiction of those courts.
General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a term right away, we have not waived it. These terms, together with any written agreement you sign with us (such as trade pricing or a confidentiality agreement), are the whole agreement between us about their subject.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. The terms in effect when you place an order apply to that order.
